As part of the exhibition "Carrying", experience dance as a living memory. Kurdish dance represents community, resistance, and storytelling. Join a circle to learn to dance, discover background stories, and have fun together. Welcoming to all skill levels and abilities. Dance to rarely heard Kurdish music cassettes from a time when Kurdish music had to circulate secretly. Singer Azadî blends traditional Kurdish sounds with contemporary music in a live performance. Songs reflect love, longing, freedom, and resistance. The workshop is led by Suzan Çakar, accompanied by singer Azadî and musician Newdar on traditional instruments tembûr and saz. Organized in collaboration with Habibi Kiosk / Münchner Kammerspiele. Free admission, no prior registration required, places limited and allocated on site. Meet at the foyer.
