Aynur Doğan is a pivotal figure in contemporary Kurdish music: traditional folk song and the dengbêj style, set in an open landscape that takes in jazz, classical music and other Western influences. Clear, powerful and direct, moving between deep-rooted melancholy, hypnotic folk and boundless crossover. She has shared stages with Yo-Yo Ma and Riccardo Muti. Standing concert, part of the Istanbul Ekspres Festival, a collaboration between Ha Concerts and De Centrale. Doors open at 19:15.
