About this event
Solidarity event to raise funds for Kurdish aid. Features multiple speakers discussing the current situation in Rojava, a dinner, and music performances. All proceeds go to the Kurdish Red Crescent to support medical and humanitarian aid in conflict zones. The event includes a program of talks, performances, food, drinks, and contributions from musicians Meral Polat, Ahmat Sexo, Şare Ma, and Şewusen among others. Confirmed speakers include Hisham Arafat, Frederike Geerdink, Wahhab Hassoo, Adem Özgür (RiseUp4Rojava Netherlands) and more. Tickets cost €15 including tea, coffee, dinner and dessert. In-person attendance only. Venue is wheelchair accessible via elevator.
