BIJI

About this event

BIJI is an immersive audiovisual collaboration between Kurdish-Swedish artist and actor Robin Nazari and Stockholm-based director and music producer Maceo Frost, combining music, film and culture. The project is rooted in Kurdish and West Asian musical traditions and reinterprets them through hip-hop, Afrobeat, Latin and dance. Its stated focus includes Kurdish identity, life, love and celebration culture, with themes of identity, resistance, freedom, expression and community.
