How heavy is a snowflake, and how long does it live? In Trabzon, on Turkey's Black Sea coast, snow falls in the last days of autumn as it never has before and the roads are closed. Miase and Adar go to the same school but have never met. They end up at the same bus stop waiting for the same late bus, and fall in love at first sight. Miase is the daughter of a local Turkish family, Adar the son of a Kurdish family from Hakkari. They skip school, meet every day, walk for hours, and live a romance that lasts thirty-one days. On New Year's Eve, Adar disappears, and Miase sets off for Dersim to find him. Also known as Die Lebensdauer einer Schneeflocke. Directed by Kazım Öz.
