About this event

Two-day series: a panel discussion on 1 October at Kölibri, GWA St. Pauli (19:30–21:00), with Rojda Arslan, Dr. Leyla Ferman and Çiçek Yildiz, moderated by HINARA e.V. The panel examines the legal, sociological and theological context of the genocide; it is in spoken German with Kurdish interpretation. A free film screening of “Letters from Şengal,” in Kurdish with German subtitles, followed by a discussion, takes place on 2 October at Lichtmeß Kino (19:00–21:00). Attendance is free; registration is required for the panel but not for the film.
