About this event
Ciwan Haco is one of the defining Kurdish artists of the last half century. Born in Tirbespî near Qamişlo in Syria, he was among the first to bring rock, jazz and pop arrangement into Kurdish song, and his voice has carried the longing, hope and stubbornness of Kurdish audiences for decades.
