A two-day conference bringing together scholars, researchers, educators, intellectuals, and activists from Kurdistan, Europe, and the diaspora. The programme features an opening keynote lecture, four thematic panels, and a concluding roundtable, with discussions on the production and decolonization of knowledge about Kurdistan, alternative academies and educational spaces, changing understandings of the Kurdish question, Kurdish subjects and narratives in the writing of Kurdish history, and women’s struggles to create and transform public spaces. The conference concludes with a roundtable on political horizons for Kurdistan. It takes place in Kurdish (Sorani and Kurmanji) and English.
