About this event

Hardi Kurda, a Gaudeamus Award 2026 jury member, presents two interactive sound installations: Sounding Carpet and Your Resonance. Sounding Carpet is an interactive sound installation based on a Kurdish carpet as a found score. Visitors are invited to touch and press their fingers into the carpet, activating layers of sounds and audio material embedded in the work. Your Resonance is an interactive sound installation and real-time score based on ECG (electrocardiogram) data, translating heart activity into sound manipulation processes, creating a direct feedback system where body electricity signals become musical material. Sounding Carpet was commissioned by Kulturbryggan, Swedish Art Grant Committee. Your Resonance was commissioned by the Public Art Agency of Västra Götaland Region (2015-2019).
