About this event

For the next edition of the Kurdish Book Club, participants will read In de naam van de Sjah by Laleh Khadivi, an absorbing novel about life during times of revolution. The book explores power, loss, family, love, youth, and the impact of political upheaval on everyday life in Iran before and during the revolution. Attendees will discuss the book and what political change means for daily life. You are welcome to join the discussion whether you have read the book or simply want to listen. Free admission. The Kurdish Stories book club is a collaboration between the Central Library of The Hague and Vulpes Vulpes Kurdistanica; books are discussed every two months in relation to Kurdish identity and history.
