About this event

Academic lecture in Dutch titled 'De Koerden: geschiedenis en actualiteit' (The Kurds: history and current affairs). Delivered by dr. Joost Jongerden, associate professor at Wageningen University & Research. The talk provides an accessible introduction to the history of the Kurdish people dispersed across Turkey, Syria, Iraq, and Iran, with special focus on recent developments in Syria (Rojava) and Iran (Rojhilat). Co-organized by SAZ-Koerden in collaboration with MCB. Doors open at 19:00, lecture starts at 19:30. Admission is free but registration is mandatory due to limited seats.
