About this event

Two strong voices of Kirmancki (Zazaki) music, Maviş Güneşer and Erdoğan Emir, share a stage for the first time. The concert brings laments, love songs and stories carried by an ancient language together with contemporary arrangements and free improvisation. Maviş Güneşer is one of the leading women performers of Zazaki music, working with the musical heritage of Dersim, Alevi devotional music and the oral history tradition.
