About this event

An experimental opera about language and freedom, performed by an all-female cast. Naaz Mohammad sings emotionally charged texts in Kurdish; the work is based on a poem by Kurdish poet Tarza Jaff and follows women who find the courage to leave and pursue their own path. The production combines opera, poetry, electronic DIY kitchen sounds and extravagant costumes.
